Tired of Losing Your USB Drives?

I love technology, and the fact that I can carry around more than 8 gigabytes of data and information in a tiny micro USB device blows me away. It's just that reason that also make me nervous. USB sticks are getting smaller and smaller and I have a habit of losing and misplacing them all over the house.

The solution to my forgetfulness and data solution is USB jewelry. Flashdrive jewelry is very popular for both men and women. The college kids and teenagers can keep their silicon wristbands (ok I might wear one with sports clothes) but I'll wear a gold and diamond USB necklace thank you very much.

Electronics don't have to be boring or dull. We have gotten used to computers and technology being plain and boring. But look out world because technology and fashion have collided.

Seriously no one would ever know these designer necklaces are storing photographs, documents, and files. In a way this is kinda feels like being a James Bond 007 spy carrying around secrets.

I do love jewelry and growing up I remember ladies wearing large pendents around their neck which flipped opened as a watch, or even a lip gloss container. At the time I thought I would never wear anything so gaudy.

My godmother had a ladybug necklace and when you squeezed the wings it opened to a watch, I thought it was so cool. This one doubles as a mini USB drive.

Heck it's not gaudy, it's convenient I would now wear them.

Advances in technology have made electronics cheaper and cheaper all the time. These fashionable USB flash drives are economical enough to give as graduation gifts and put in Christmas stockings for all the kids, without breaking the budget.

Seriously, where were these when I was in college. I'd much rather wear a USB drive on my wrist than be digging in the bottom of my purse or trying to remember which coat pocket I stuck my memory stick. I can't tell you how many of those I've lost over the years. Good thing the files were only back ups.

Maybe jewelry isn't your thing, maybe fun and playful is more your style. Last year I gave my daughter a penguin memory stick and her step sister "Finding Nemo", they were both seniors in high school and I thought they would be cute gifts for college. Practical and fun.

They are cute, but also a little morbid when you pop off their head. Sadistic in a way, kinda like eating the head of a gingerbread cookie first.

The nice thing about these novelty USB keychains is they can be attached to key lanyards which make them harder to lose.
