Strutz Cushioned Arch Supports

Updated on April 5, 2014

Best Arch Supports I've Ever Found

I normally don't buy into "As Seen on TV" products but the Strutz Cushioned Arch Supports live up to their claims.

My feet hurt, not a little, but all the time, I have plantar fasciitis. It's worse in the morning and can gradually get better throughout the day, if I wear the correct shoes, do stretching exercises throughout the day, and don't walk barefoot in the house.

Walking barefoot actually makes my medical condition worse. The Strutz Arch Supports are wonderful and I have my son to thank for them. He gave them to me for Mothers Day this year, knowing my feet are always sore and hoped they would work. They do!!

Strutz Cushioned Arch Supports can provide all-day relief for achy feet. They can be worn in shoes, or when you're walking around the house barefoot. Since I have orthopedic shoes with really good insoles I don't have to wear them in my shoes, but on the weekends I walk barefoot in my house all day as I'm doing chores. By the end of the day I can barely walk.

How Do Strutz Arch Supports Work?

The Strutz arch support is really simple, a stretchy elastic band with a soft squishy insole arch support. The supportive cushion helps relieve heel, arch and ball-of-foot pain. So simple, why didn't I think of something like this? I could of been a millionaire! I slipped the arch support on and stood up. Oh my! It was like walking in my Birkenstock shoes, but barefoot. Seriously.

The instructions recommend gradually getting used to wearing the arch supports, one hour the first day and gradually increasing day by day. This is especially important for people who are not used to support under your arches.

Relief For Plantar Fasciitis

These arch supports will help anyone with plantar fasciitis as they support the plantar ligament on the bottom of your feet. Orthopedic shoes can be expensive and are not always the most fashionable. By wearing these supports with my other shoes I'm able to wear my more fashionable shoes without pain at the end of the day.

But even if you don't have plantar fasciitis and just have sore or achy feet it's a good idea to use the Strutz supports to help prevent future problems.

I totally recommend trying them, could just be the best Mothers Day gift my son ever gave me, but don't tell him that I'm still holding out for grandkids in the future.

Plantar Fasciitis Treatment and Therapy Aids

As part of my daily routine I exercise my feet every morning. If I didn't stretch and massage my feet every day, all throughout the day my plantar fasciitis would be worse. I have a desk job and can be sitting for ten hours a day. so it's easy to stretch and do some physical therapy exercises for my feet and ankles.

In addition to wearing really good supportive shoes, these exercise aids are helpful in eliminating foot pain.

Due North Industrial Rubz Foot, Hand & Back Massage Ball, Relief from Plantar Fasciitis, Green
I keep these Foot Rubz massage balls under my desk at work and roll my feet on them throughout the day. I used to use a tennis ball, or golf ball to stretch my plantar ligament but these Foot Rubz have tiny bumps that do a better job of actually massaging the bottom of my foot and stimulating circulation.

Part of the reason your feet will hurt more in the morning when you first get up is because the plantar ligament shortens as you point your feet during sleep. This foot support brace keeps your feet in a neutral position to prevent the ligament from tightening and decreasing morning foot pain.

Buy a massage ball and foot roller together and save money. The roller is more stable and seems to reach areas under the toes the massage ball cannot reach. These can also be used on the back by a partner to give back relief. Just adjust the pressure for varying amounts of relief

Best Arch Supports on the Market

Shock absorbers for your feet, that's what this simple product really does. My plantar fasciitis was caused by working on my feet for many years. Hours of customer service jobs, standing at trade shows and conferences and wearing cheap shoes with no support. These portable insoles still allow me to wear fashionable shoes and save me money.

If I had seen this commercial I probably would have purchased these elastic insoles myself. Just glad I was given them as a gift, but they are cheap enough to have several pairs.
