Oven Baked BBQ Chicken Wings
The Best Barbecue Chicken Wings, Super Bowl Approved
I love barbecue chickens wings. Some people prefer hot buffalo wings, but I can do without the heat, I'll stick with BBQ wings thank you very much, and lots of them. These are meant to be baked in the oven as these wings are breaded and coated.
The recipe is easy, a little time consuming, but well worth the investment. You're party guests will be singing your praises by the time they leave your house and asking for the recipe. I'm not into recipes that take a lot of gourmet ingredients, but simple and cupboard friendly.
The first time I made these was for a Super Bowl party in 2009 and many said they were the best chicken wings they every had, so coming from a bunch of football fans that is high praise since more chicken wings are consumed on Super Bowl Sunday than any other day of the year.
COOKING TIP:
The secret to these buffalo wings is to set the timer to remind yourself to turn and coat. Start the wings first before making your other party appetizers and the hour or so will fly by. For example you can prep your bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers as the wings are baking.
